Having been a wedding photographer for a few years, I have had the opportunity to photograph weddings in those dream venues. These locations are on the bucket list of many London wedding photographer, so you may be able to snatch a great wedding photography deal. 1. THE ROYAL EXCHANGE

The Royal Exchange is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships and is the ideal venue if you are looking for a unique and creative space that steps outside the usual hotel ballroom. An exclusive hire encompasses a ceremony for up to 240 guests, a dining space for up to 250 guests with a dance floor, a separate canapé reception area, a lounge space and the wedding suite. 2. CHANDOS HOUSE

Chandos House, a beautiful Georgian Townhouse that was built by Georgian Britain’s most prominent architect, Robert Adam, between 1769 – 1771. The House has been the home to Dukes, Counts and Barons in the centuries since opening and is now one of the finest wedding London wedding venues for both ceremonies and receptions. Chandos House is one of the most idyllic wedding venues in London. 4. ST STEPHEN’S HAMPSTEAD

Samuel Teulon’s ‘mighty church’, as he called it, was built to provide an additional place of worship for the increased population of the Parish of St John caused by the building of new streets between Belsize Park and Hampstead such as Lyndhurst and Thurlow Roads. When in 1864 it was decided to erect a new church the job of architect ultimately fell to Samuel Teulon after Ewan Christian, architect to the Church Commissioners declined the post. The estimated cost of the church was £7,500 and the money was raised entirely by subscriptions and large donations from local people, its prospective congregation. Find out more here.

5. ISLINGTON TOWN HALL

8. IRONMONGER’S HALL

Built in the 1920’s, the Tudor style Hall feels like a country house re-located to the heart of the City of London. 10. TRINITY BUOY WHARF

The historic Chainstore venue is a beautiful Grade II listed brick building with triple height ceilings and plenty of Character. Built in 1854 and connected to London’s only Lighthouse, The Chainstore offers 420 m2 of space with an optional 1,528 m2 of riverside terrace to take advantage of the spectacular views. 11. OSTERLEY PARK

You can go big in the entrance hall of this west London National Trust property, or opt for a more intimate affair in the Temple of Pan. They’re licensed for civil marriages and partnerships, and if you’re a Batman fan, you should know that this is the setting for Wayne Manor in The Dark Knight Rises. Find out more here.

12. INSTITUTE OF CONTEMPORARY ARTS

Located in the heart of central London, within the prestigious Grade 1 listed Nash House on The Mall, the ICA is a vibrant and beautiful venue, offering opportunities for unique and individually designed weddings and civil ceremonies.The ICA is suitable for ceremonies and wedding breakfasts for up to 84 guests and standing evening receptions for up to 150 guests. The first floor is home to the Nash and Brandon Rooms where guests can dine amongst elegant Regency features and sip champagne while admiring views of Big Ben and the London Eye from one of three balconies.We also have access to a large garden just next door to the ICA which we can apply to use for your wedding celebration. 13. ASYLUM ARTS

A jaw-dropping Grade II-listed building, this project centre has quite the history. They’re licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies, and you can take a virtual tour if you like.

14. VILLAGE UNDERGROUND

Village Underground is a multi-functional space which is also available for private events and corporate hire. Our team are able to help envision, produce and host a wide range of events. The money raised from these hires directly funds our artistic programme. Find out more here.

15. MC MOTORS

A stunning warehouse venue in Dalston with an abundance of props. However, it’s only available for receptions at present. (Stoke Newington Town Hall is the probably the closest ceremony venue.) The best bit? You can have your name on the marquee. Find out more here.

16. HACKNEY RESERVOIR

The perfect setting for wedding receptions, meetings and parties, the outdoor terraces overlook the glistening water providing an incomparable experience in a one-of-a-kind venue.Close to Manor House tube station, the venue is one of the most unique spaces in London. Doubling up as a sailing centre, the space can be converted by night into a stylish and quirky event venue for any kind of celebration including wedding parties, business receptions and private dining. 17. STOKE NEWINGTON TOWN HALL
