Choosing your Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding Photographer
As one of London’s most sought-after Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding photographers, I have had the privilege of capturing hundreds of weddings in this iconic SW3 venue. Chelsea Old Town Hall is more than just a backdrop — it’s a building steeped in history, romance, and understated elegance, making it one of the most photographically rich wedding venues in London.

What makes Chelsea Old Town Hall so special is its versatility. Each room has its own character and atmosphere — from the intimate warmth of the Brydon Room to the grandeur of the Main Assembly Hall. Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement, a micro wedding, or a full celebration, Chelsea Old Town Hall offers the perfect setting to bring your vision to life.

As your Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding photographer, my goal is to document not just the moments between you and your partner, but the full atmosphere of this extraordinary venue — the sweeping staircases, ornate ceilings, and the quiet corners where real emotion unfolds. Every Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding tells a unique story, and I’m here to tell yours with authenticity and artistry.

Planning your wedding photography at The Chelsea Old Town Hall

I shoot around 25 weddings at Chelsea Old Town Hall every year and have shot hundreds of weddings there over the past few years. Planning your wedding photography at Chelsea Old Town Hall is no mean feat. There are so many moving parts before and after the ceremony that nailing the timing can be challenging. Points to bear in mind are:

  • Your guests will only be allowed into the ceremony room 15 – 20 minutes before the ceremony. So before they are allowed in, guests will have to wait in a small waiting room.
  • The interview with the groom will start 15 – 20 minutes before the ceremony.
  • The bride’s interview will be held after the groom has had his.
  • Some of the rooms have a very short ailse aisle.
  • Book a photographer who can shoot in low light as light is scarce in all the ceremony rooms.
  • Plan to have confetti photos on the steps after the ceremony as they make terrific images.
  • Time for photos on the outside steps is limited as it is very likely to be crowded with guests from other weddings.

Kevin was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the first time we spoke to him, he was so on it and warm! He captured our day PERFECTLY. We got married at Chelsea Old Town Hall and then took a cab to a restaurant in Vauxhall, and Kevin was with us the whole time, making both us and our family feel completely relaxed.

The photos he captured are so real, joyful, and natural.. nothing felt staged. He truly documented the day exactly as it happened, and the results are beautiful. In fact, my brother loved the photos so much that he now wants to book Kevin for his own wedding!

I would absolutely recommend working with Kevin. Thank you for giving us such beautiful memories that we’ll treasure forever.
